Psychology of Design

Whether it's a 20 foot banner for the whole city to see or a business card where you choose your audience a lot of thought goes into any kind of design we do.

So the first thing you need to consider is who your audience is and what is their frame of mind when they're looking at your ad. And your audience's frame of mind will vary depending on which of the four stages of the buying cycle they're in. And your audience's buying cycle is usually determined by what medium you're advertising in and where they're seeing your ad. Are you advertising in a magazine where the reader is leisurely reading your ad? Or is it in a phonebook where the reader is primed to buy? Or are promoting an impulse buy? There's your audience, kind of. Now how about you? Do you have a recognized brand? Do you have a tangible product? Just to name a few.

With all of this and more in mind, different keywords and information need to be presented to the audience to trigger the right reaction.
